MIDWAY SCHOOL NURSE

Dear Midway Parents, Guardians, and Families,
 

My name is Rene' Herring. I am a Registered Nurse, the School Nurse for Midway ISD. I graduated as a nurse in 1994 and have worked in Postpartum, Home Health, and Tele Nurse positions. 

I am a certified teacher as well. I taught for 18 years for Archer City ISD and have been a substitute teacher for Windthorst ISD the past 5 years. I am a wife and mother of two children, the oldest who is non-verbal and autistic. I believe in promoting a safe, healthy community for all children to focus on their educational opportunities. I hope to develop meaningful relationships with students and staff, communicate care, and provide health education as needed.

I am here one day each week, usually on Tuesdays. Please feel free to contact me with any concerns or questions you may have.
